A Shoe Story

Amount of time spent (by Holden) pulling 20 some odd pairs of shoes from their homes: 45 seconds
Amount of time spent (by me) returning 20 some odd pairs of shoes to their homes: 5 minutes

Uninterrupted time to put my makeup on and (sometimes) blow dry my hair: PRICELESS!

Bad Hair Day

I'd like to preempt this post by saying that I am really glad that Holden is getting some hair. Really, really glad. I am just not so sure what to do with hair that appears to be growing straight up. Alternate View

Best 10 Dollars Ever Spent

So, you may or may not know that Reo and I are big fans of the now Zach Braff-less television show, Scrubs. Okay, I am a big fan, Reo is a borderline obsessive fan. When Reo discovered that "Ted's Band", who makes multiple appearances on the show, was coming right here to our own Layton, Utah to perform, he knew we had to go. And when I found out tickets were 10 dollars, I knew we had to go. So go we did!

(This picture stolen from my little sister's Facebook page. She shelled out 20 big ones and sat on the front row. My pictures from the very back of the GA section were not as good.)
The show was outside, and it happened to be about a million degrees below zero, so we weren't sure if we should stick around to get our picture taken with the band. We settled for this.

I tried to attach a video from You Tube to give you an example of the awesome songs I heard, but I kept getting an error. I figured you probably know how You Tube works, so if you are interested, you can look it up yourself!
Highlights of the show included the Charles in Charge theme song, and a Mrs. Clause doll dancing to the theme from Flashdance....Jealous?

Necessity Is The Mother Of Invention

Except I didn't invent bread crumbs. I did, however, have meatball gunk up to my elbows and a sleeping baby, and only half of the prepackaged bread crumbs I needed to complete the recipe.
So, my twice..no, wait, THRICE used food processor and I created my very first homemade breadcrumbs. And lo and behold, it worked! Impressed? I thought so.

(Photo below is the food processor I own, courtesy of my sister-in-law, Shannon. I promise we use the blender part all the time, Shannon, so the wedding gift has not been going unused!)
